This is a part-time, remote role with clear weekly tasks and the freedom to suggest improvements.

About Kod2Kids
Kod2Kids teaches Robotics, Coding, Artificial Intelligence and STEAM to school students from Class 1 to 12. We run live online classes (1:1 and small batches), in-school programs with partner schools, and we make our own hands-on robotics kits and class-wise activity books. Our learning is project-based and aligned with NEP 2020: students build real projects such as smart street lights, line-following robots, IoT devices and games, and showcase them on our Student Showcase.

Role Overview
You will maintain two WordPress sites built with Elementor, WooCommerce, WPForms and Yoast: updates and backups, landing pages, forms and automations, store products and payments, performance, security and basic SEO hygiene.
You will work with the marketing team on landing pages and with operations on store features.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance and Security
- Plugin/theme/core updates on a staging-first routine; backups and uptime checks.
- Security hardening, spam protection, user access and SSL checks.
- Fix broken layouts, forms, emails (SMTP) and plugin conflicts.
Pages, Store and Forms
- Build and edit landing pages, course pages and job pages in Elementor/Gutenberg.
- Manage WooCommerce products, coupons, shipping, invoices and payment gateway (Razorpay/COD).
- Maintain WPForms (demo bookings), email notifications and chatbot settings.
Performance and SEO
- Monitor Core Web Vitals, caching and image optimisation.
- Keep Yoast settings, sitemaps, schema and redirects healthy; fix Search Console issues.
- Document changes and keep a simple changelog.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 2+ years hands-on with WordPress, Elementor and WooCommerce.
- Comfortable with PHP/HTML/CSS/JS basics, Code Snippets and WordPress hooks.
- Experience with caching, security plugins, SMTP and backups.
- Basic SEO knowledge (Yoast, Search Console, schema).
- Clear communication and reliable weekly availability.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in any of the following areas are encouraged to apply:
- Freelance WordPress maintenance for multiple clients.
- WooCommerce store management with Indian payment gateways.
- Page-speed optimisation and Core Web Vitals fixes.
- Integrations with WhatsApp, Google Merchant Center or Meta catalogue.
How Success Will Be Measured
- Site uptime, speed scores and zero unresolved security issues.
- Turnaround time on page/form/store requests.
- Search Console and WooCommerce health (no errors, correct tracking).
- Quality of documentation and handover.
