🎯 What are we building?
We combine the sensor, an LED and the buzzer to make an alarm. When the sensor notices a hand near the box, the LED flashes and the buzzer sounds.

The sensor is the watchman. When it spots a hand it tells the Nano, which then runs the alarm steps: flash the light and beep. Using both light and sound makes the alarm harder to ignore.
🌍 Where is this used in real life?
- Shop alarms and bank vaults use sensors to detect intruders.
- Museums protect valuable art with invisible beams.
- Home security systems alert families when someone enters.
💡 What could YOU invent with it?
Invent a “cookie-jar guard” for your kitchen or a “school locker alert”. It could help small shopkeepers or families protect things without expensive equipment.
