Why kids love our game classes

Games teach maths, logic, storytelling and design at the same time.

🕹️

From player to maker

Children learn how their favourite games work, then build their own versions.

🧮

Maths & logic in action

Coordinates, speed, scores and timers make maths meaningful.

🎨

Design & storytelling

Characters, levels and stories build creativity and planning skills.

🐍

Real code

Scratch for juniors, Python with Pygame for older kids, and game-engine basics for seniors.

👫

Share & play

Finished games can be shared with a link and featured on our Student Showcase.

Game development for kids, explained

What do kids learn in game development classes?

Game development combines coding, maths, art and storytelling. Children plan a game on paper, design characters and levels, write the code for movement, scoring and winning, and then test and improve it. These are the same steps professional studios follow, scaled to your child’s age.

Which language is best for kids to make games?

For Class 3–6, Scratch is ideal because blocks remove typing errors and children focus on logic. From Class 7, Python with the Pygame library teaches real text-based coding. Senior students can try a beginner-friendly game engine to understand scenes, physics and scripting.

Is game development good for studies?

Yes. Games use coordinates, angles, speed, probability and timing, so maths becomes practical. Children also learn to break big problems into small steps, which helps in every subject.

How online game classes work

Classes are live with a Kod2Kids mentor, 1:1 or in batches of up to four. Your child shares their screen, builds step by step and receives feedback instantly. Evening and weekend slots are available.
