This time the signal is a sound, not a light. After a random wait the buzzer beeps and you have to press the button quickly, and the board tells you if you were fast enough.

🎮 Play with this experiment⚙️ How does it work?
The Nano starts a timer when the beep begins and stops it when the button is pressed. It compares your time with a limit. If you pressed too early it can even catch you cheating!
🌍 Where is this used in real life?
- Athletes start races on the sound of a gun, and false starts are detected.
- Quiz buzzers detect who pressed first.
- Airport security tests measure alertness to sounds.
💡 What could YOU invent with it?
Make a “listening test” game for school: it checks how well students react to sounds. It could help teachers spot kids who may need a hearing check.
