📌About these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Aryavart Institute of Technology Pvt. Ltd, which runs Kod2Kids ("Kod2Kids", "we", "us") from Supaul, Bihar. They apply when you use kod2kids.com, book a demo, enrol in classes, use the parent dashboard or chatbot, or buy a robotics kit (our "Services").

By using our Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.

🤖Our services

• Live 1:1 online classes in coding, robotics and related STEM topics, taught by Kod2Kids mentors.
• A free demo class so your child can try Kod2Kids before you pay.
• A parent dashboard with progress tracking, certificates and badges.
• Robotics kits and curriculum material sold through our shop.
• Free learning resources, project guides and videos on our website.

We keep improving our courses, so topics, tools and platforms may change over time. We'll always aim to keep the learning value the same or better.

📝Enrolment & accounts

• Please give accurate information when booking or enrolling, and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping login details for the parent dashboard safe. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.
• One enrolment is for one child. Classes can't be shared with or transferred to another child without our written approval.
• We may decline an enrolment if we can't provide a suitable mentor or batch, and we'll refund anything already paid for that enrolment.

💳Fees & payments

• Fees are as shown on our pricing section or in the quote we send you at enrolment. Prices are in [INR / USD] and [include / exclude] applicable taxes such as GST.
• Membership plans are paid in advance for the billing period shown (for example, monthly). The number of classes included is listed in each plan.
• Payments are processed securely by our payment partner [e.g. Razorpay]. We don't store your card, UPI or bank details.
• [If plans auto-renew:] Plans renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel before the renewal date. We'll remind you before charging.
• Unused classes in a billing period expire after [30] days unless we agree otherwise.
• We may change prices in the future, but a change will never affect a period you've already paid for. We'll tell you in advance.

🗓️Scheduling & missed classes

If your child's regular mentor becomes unavailable, we may assign another qualified mentor so learning isn't interrupted.

↩️Cancellations & refunds

• The demo class is free, so there's nothing to refund.
• You can cancel a plan any time. It will stop at the end of the current paid period.
• If you're unhappy and ask within [7] days of your first paid class, we'll refund the fee for the unused classes in that period.
• After that, fees for the current period are non-refundable, except where we cancel classes and can't reschedule them, in which case we refund those classes.
• Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within [7–10] working days.
• To request a refund, email info@kod2kids.com with your child's name and payment details.

📦Robotics kits & shipping

• We ship within India to the address you provide. Delivery usually takes [5–10] working days after dispatch. Delays by courier partners are outside our control, but we'll help you track your order.
• Damaged or missing parts: tell us within [48] hours of delivery with photos or an unboxing video, and we'll replace them free.
• Returns: unopened, unused kits can be returned within [7] days of delivery. Return shipping may be charged unless the kit was faulty.
• Electronic parts are covered only for manufacturing defects, not for damage from misuse, wrong wiring or water.

🛡️Class conduct & child safety

Our promise

• Mentors communicate with students only through Kod2Kids class platforms and parent-approved channels, never privately on social media.
• Mentors are trained to keep classes respectful, age-appropriate and safe.
• Parents can raise any concern about a class or mentor at any time, and we'll look into it promptly.

We ask students and parents to

• Be respectful to mentors. Bullying, abusive language or inappropriate content isn't allowed.
• Keep a parent or guardian nearby during classes, especially for younger students.
• Not record, screenshot or share classes or mentor details publicly without our permission.
• Join from a quiet place with a working laptop or computer, internet and headphones if possible.

If a class is recorded by Kod2Kids for quality and safety, we'll tell you in advance and handle it as described in our Privacy Policy.

💡Content & student work

• Your child's creations belong to your child. Projects, code and designs a student makes in class are theirs.
• We will only showcase a student's work, name, photo or video (for example in our gallery or on social media) with a parent's separate written permission, which you can withdraw any time.
• Our content belongs to us. The Kod2Kids name and logo, curriculum, lesson plans, worksheets, videos and website content are owned by Kod2Kids or our licensors. You may use them for your child's personal learning only, not copy, resell, or share them publicly.

🔗Chatbot & third-party services

Chatbot. Our website assistant uses AI to answer general questions. Its replies are for information only and may sometimes be wrong or out of date. Prices, schedules, offers and refunds are confirmed only by the Kod2Kids team in writing.

Third parties. Classes may run on platforms such as [Zoom / Google Meet], payments through [payment gateway], and videos on YouTube. Those services have their own terms, and we're not responsible for their outages or policies. Links to other websites are provided for convenience only.

⚖️Disclaimers & limitation of liability

• We work hard to make every class great, but every child learns differently. We don't guarantee specific results such as grades, competition wins or admissions.
• Our Services are provided "as is". We try to keep them running smoothly but can't promise they'll always be uninterrupted or error-free.
• To the extent allowed by law, Kod2Kids is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the [3] months before the claim.
• Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under Indian consumer protection law that can't legally be excluded.

⛔Suspension & termination

We may pause or end access to our Services if these Terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, for example abusive behaviour towards a mentor, sharing our paid content, or non-payment. Where possible we'll warn you first and give you a chance to fix the issue. If we end Services without a fault on your side, we'll refund any unused classes.

You can stop using our Services at any time as explained in Cancellations & refunds.

🏛️Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. If there's a problem, please talk to us first at info@kod2kids.com. Most issues can be solved quickly and kindly. If a dispute can't be resolved within 30 days, it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at [City, State].

💌Changes & contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the date at the top and tell enrolled parents about important changes by email. Changes won't affect a period you've already paid for.
