AI & Coding Lab Setup for Schools
Kod2Kids designs and sets up a future-ready AI and coding lab on your campus: layout, equipment, AI and robotics kits, a grade-wise curriculum, teacher training and ongoing support.
Why schools choose us for AI labs
A lab is only useful when it is used every week. We set up the room and the programme.
Lab design
Layout for 30–40 students with workstations, a demo table, storage and display walls.
Right equipment
Guidance on computers, AI vision and voice kits, microcontrollers and robotics add-ons, sized to your budget.
Curriculum built in
Grade-wise AI and coding lessons from Scratch to Python and machine learning.
Teacher training
Hands-on training so your teachers run the lab confidently, plus co-teaching in year one.
Support & upkeep
Maintenance visits, replacement parts and annual curriculum updates.
Showcase ready
Projects for exhibitions, ATL events and competitions from the first term.
Lab packages
Indicative packages; every proposal is customised to your room, grades and budget.

Setting up an AI lab in your school
What is an AI lab for schools?
An AI lab is a dedicated space where students learn coding and artificial intelligence by building projects. It combines computers, AI kits such as cameras and microphones for vision and voice projects, microcontrollers and a structured curriculum. Students move from block coding to Python and machine learning across classes.
Coding lab setup for schools
Many schools already have a computer lab. We convert it into a coding lab by adding a grade-wise curriculum, coding kits, lesson plans and teacher training, often without new computers. Schools can then add AI and robotics modules in later phases.
How we set up the lab
We visit the site, review your room, computers, power and internet, then share a layout and equipment plan. After approval, we deliver and install equipment, train teachers and run an inauguration session with students. The lab is usually ready in four to eight weeks.
Running the lab every week
The lab comes with a weekly timetable and lesson plans for each class. Schools can choose Kod2Kids instructors, train their own teachers, or use both. We also support exhibitions and competitions so the lab’s work is visible to parents.
How it works
A simple, proven process for schools of every size.
Discovery call
Share your grades, student count, infrastructure and goals. We suggest the right model.
Proposal & sample session
You receive a proposal, curriculum outline and pricing, plus a free sample session for students or management.
Setup & launch
Kits, books and material arrive, trainers are deployed and the timetable is agreed with your academic team.
Deliver & report
Weekly sessions, projects, exhibitions and term reports. Renewal and expansion are planned together.
Projects your students will build
Real, working projects, not just theory.

Frequently asked questions
What principals and coordinators ask us.
How much space does an AI lab need?
A regular classroom of about 500–700 sq ft works for 30–40 students in batches. We adapt the layout to your room.
Can you use our existing computer lab?
Yes. Most coding labs are set up inside existing computer labs by adding kits, curriculum and training.
How long does the setup take?
Three to eight weeks depending on the package and equipment.
Who will teach in the lab?
Kod2Kids instructors, your trained teachers, or a combination.
Is the curriculum aligned with CBSE?
Yes. It supports NEP 2020 goals and CBSE AI and computer-science expectations.
How is it priced?
A one-time setup cost plus an optional annual programme. Request a proposal for exact pricing.
