Why teach AI from Class 6?
AI is now part of daily life, from recommendations to voice assistants. NEP 2020 encourages AI awareness and coding in school. Starting in Class 6 lets students understand concepts gradually and reach real machine-learning projects by Class 9–10.
What students learn
Class 6–7 focus on what AI is, how it learns from data and how to train simple models with visual tools. Class 8 introduces Python and data handling. Class 9–10 cover machine-learning workflows, evaluation and a capstone project, together with ethics and responsible use.
