We add a second LED to the circuit so both glow together. You will try two ways to connect them and see which way shines better.

Wire it just like this on your breadboard. The coin cell pushes, the resistor protects, the LED glows.
🎮 Play with this experiment⚙️ How does it work?
When LEDs are placed one after another they share the same flow, like friends passing one ball. When they are placed side by side, each gets its own path. Both ways light up, but a small battery shows the difference clearly.
🌍 Where is this used in real life?
- A car has two headlights and two tail lights working together.
- Festival string lights are many LEDs connected in a chain.
- Railway signals use several bulbs in one panel.
💡 What could YOU invent with it?
Make a “bicycle eyes” light: two LEDs, one white in front and one red at the back, so cyclists are seen on dark roads. It could keep the kids and workers who ride home at night safe.

जब एलईडी एक के बाद एक लगाई जाती हैं तो वे एक ही बहाव बाँटती हैं, जैसे दोस्त एक ही गेंद पास करते हैं। साथ-साथ लगाने पर हर एलईडी को अपना रास्ता मिलता है। दोनों तरह से जलती हैं, पर छोटी बैटरी से फर्क साफ दिखता है।
🌍 असली ज़िंदगी में ये कहाँ काम आता है?
- कार में दो हेडलाइट और दो टेल-लाइट एक साथ काम करती हैं।
- त्योहार की झालरें कई एलईडी की एक लड़ी होती हैं।
- रेलवे सिग्नल में एक पैनल में कई बल्ब लगे होते हैं।
💡 इससे आप क्या नया बना सकते हो?
“साइकिल की आँखें” बनाओ: दो एलईडी, आगे सफ़ेद और पीछे लाल, ताकि अँधेरी सड़क पर साइकिल वाले दिखें। रात को साइकिल से घर लौटने वाले बच्चों और मज़दूरों की सुरक्षा बढ़ सकती है।
