We try each resistor from the kit one by one in the same LED circuit and compare the results. You learn that resistors come in different values and each one behaves differently.

🎮 Play with this experiment⚙️ How does it work?
Resistance tells us how strongly a part pushes back against the flow of electricity. The colour bands on a resistor are a code for its value. Higher value means a tighter squeeze and a softer LED glow.
🌍 Where is this used in real life?
- Volume knobs on speakers change resistance to make the sound louder or softer.
- A fan regulator at home changes resistance to change the fan speed.
- Heater and iron controls adjust how much current flows.
💡 What could YOU invent with it?
Create a “mood lamp” with a few different resistors and a switch to choose between soft, medium and bright light. It could help a baby sleep, help you study, or light a party.

रेज़िस्टेंस बताता है कि कोई पुर्ज़ा बिजली के बहाव को कितनी ज़ोर से रोकता है। रेसिस्टर पर रंगीन पट्टियाँ उसके मान का कोड होती हैं। मान जितना ज़्यादा, दबाव उतना कसा और एलईडी की रोशनी उतनी हल्की।
🌍 असली ज़िंदगी में ये कहाँ काम आता है?
- स्पीकर का वॉल्यूम नॉब रेज़िस्टेंस बदलकर आवाज़ तेज़ या धीमी करता है।
- घर का फैन रेगुलेटर रेज़िस्टेंस बदलकर पंखे की स्पीड घटाता-बढ़ाता है।
- हीटर और प्रेस के कंट्रोल करंट कम-ज़्यादा करते हैं।

अलग-अलग रेसिस्टर और एक स्विच से “मूड लैंप” बनाओ जिसमें हल्की, मध्यम और तेज़ रोशनी चुन सको। ये बच्चे को सुलाने, पढ़ने या पार्टी की सजावट, तीनों में काम आएगा।
