Robotics Classes for Beginners, from first circuit to first robot
Made for children who have never built a robot. Primary and middle school students learn robotics at home in live classes, with a kit, a mentor and projects that move, light up and react.
Built for first-time robot makers
No jargon, no prior coding, just steady progress from simple to smart.
Zero experience needed
The first classes cover what a circuit is and how a motor turns, before any robot.
Primary-friendly
Class 1–5 learn with big components, colourful activities and short, playful sessions.
Middle-school depth
Class 6–8 add sensors, block coding and Arduino to build robots that think.
Learn at home
Every step is done on a Kod2Kids kit at home, guided live by the mentor.
Live, not recorded
The mentor sees your child’s build and fixes problems in the moment.
Certificate & showcase
Completed robots are featured on our Student Showcase.
Beginner robotics by class
Two clear tracks, so the pace fits your child’s age.
| Track | Classes | What they build | Skills |
|---|---|---|---|
| Primary Starter | Class 1–3 | LED and buzzer circuits, spinning fan, light-up card | Circuits, cause and effect, fine motor |
| Primary Explorer | Class 4–5 | Smart dustbin, traffic light, motor car, Scratch-controlled lights | Sensors, motors, block logic |
| Middle Builder | Class 6–7 | Obstacle avoider, line follower, automatic lamp | Arduino basics, sensors, loops |
| Middle Pro | Class 8 | Bluetooth car, robotic arm, smart home model | Coding, mechanics, wireless control |
How beginners learn robotics
Robotics classes for primary students
Children in Class 1–5 learn best by touching and seeing. Our primary track uses colourful components and short activities: making a bulb glow, a buzzer sound or a fan spin. By Class 4–5 they add sensors and simple block coding, so a dustbin lid opens when a hand comes near. Each class ends with a working model and a big smile.
Robotics classes for middle school students
Class 6–8 students are ready for real robots. They learn Arduino, connect ultrasonic and IR sensors, control motors and write code that makes the robot decide what to do. Projects like line followers and obstacle avoiders are also perfect for school exhibitions and ATL activities.
Learn robotics at home
Every student receives a Kod2Kids kit and activity book, delivered free across India. Classes are live on Google Meet or Zoom. Because children own the kit, they can repeat projects, experiment on their own and show their family what they built.
Is robotics hard for beginners?
No. The course starts with basics and adds one idea at a time. The mentor adjusts the pace after the free demo, so your child is always challenged but never lost.
How it works
From first call to first project in about a week.

Meet the mentor
Your child builds a mini project live with a Kod2Kids mentor while you watch how a class works.
Pick a plan & start
Choose the track for your child’s class and a weekly schedule. Kits and books reach your home.
Build, showcase, grow
Every course ends with a project, a certificate and a place on our Student Showcase.
Projects your child will build
Real, working projects, not just theory.

Frequently asked questions
Everything parents ask us before the first class.
Can a complete beginner join robotics classes?
Yes. These classes are designed for beginners and start from basic circuits.
What is the right age to start robotics?
Children can start from Class 1. The primary track uses simple, safe projects and the middle school track adds coding and Arduino.
Can my child learn robotics at home?
Yes. A kit is delivered to your home and every class is live with a mentor online.
Do primary students need a laptop?
A laptop or tablet for the video call is enough. Coding-based levels need a laptop or desktop.
What comes after the beginner course?
Students move to Arduino, IoT, AI and competition-level robotics in our advanced tracks.
How much do beginner robotics classes cost?
We offer flexible monthly plans. Book a free demo to get the plan for your child’s class.
